More people told to stay home as massive manhunt grows following mass shootings

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Maine State Police expanded a shelter in place advisory following Wednesday’s mass shootings.

Everyone in the town of Bowdoin is also asked to stay home until further notice.

That’s about 15 miles east of Lewiston, where at least 16 people were killed in two mass shootings.

The targets included a restaurant and a bowling alley that was hosting a kids’ bowling league.

MSP says more than 100 investigators are working to locate Robert Card.

The 40-year-old is considered a person of interest in this case.

A police bulletin says he recently reported mental health issues.

Card said he was hearing voices and threats to shoot up a National Guard base.

A news conference is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Central Time.
