More than 100 attend protest in Lincoln, with deportations top of mind

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — More than 100 people were protesting in Lincoln on Wednesday, making their voices heard on immigration and other issues.

The Protect Our Rights, Protect Our Future protest started at 4 p.m. at Trago Park.

Demonstrators then began the 1.3 mile-walk to the Nebraska State Capitol.

An organizer told a Channel 8 reporter that one of her top concerns was the mass deportations under President Donald Trump.
