More than 2 pounds of cocaine seized, 2 arrested in drug bust

Authorities arrested two people in connection to a large cocaine bust in north Lincoln.

Lincoln Police said officers located Alex Green, 32, and Tiffany Beyer, 33, in a vehicle at Walgreens near 14th and Superior Street.

Officers detected an odor of marijuana in the vehicle which prompted a search that uncovered 2.21 pounds of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and cash, police said. 

Green, who had three warrants, fled on foot before officers took him into custody, police said. 

Both Green and Beyer were arrested on drug charges.
