Forecast:

0830highs

High temperatures so far have struggled to get above the mid-70s for most of the state. Widespread showers and thunderstorms have lead to a cooler start to the holiday weekend.

Df Lincoln Today Hour By Hour

Heavy cloud cover and continued storm chances will limit the amount of cooling we see overnight in the Capital City. Temperatures will fall into the mid to lower 60s during the overnight hours.

Stormcast shows chances for showers continuing for much of central and eastern Nebraska on Sunday.

Df Dma Tonight Low

Low temperatures in southeastern Nebraska will fall into the lower-t0-mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies. Showers will be likely heading into Sunday for most with an easterly breeze.

Df Skycast Tonight

We will try for the lower 60s tonight in the Capital City with storm chances through the overnight hours, joined by an easterly breeze. An umbrella or a rain jacket will be a necessity this evening for any outdoor plans.

Df Dma Tomorrow High

Southeast Nebraska will not see much warming on Sunday either, as heavy cloud cover and storm chances are expected to continue for much of the day. Highs will only reach the upper 60s and lower 70s with a stronger easterly breeze.

Df Skycast Tomorrow

The Capital City tops out in the upper 60s on Sunday with showers likely for most of the day. Expect a strong easterly breeze between 5 and 10 miles per hour, gusting to 20.

Df 10 Day Forecast

Storm chances begin to fizzle out by the middle of next week, with cooler high temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Plenty of sunshine returns in time for the first game of the year for the Huskers at Memorial Stadium, with highs climbing into the mid-70s and lower 80s by next weekend.
