Mostly sunny and mild on Sunday
Despite cloud cover obscuring the sun for most of Saturday, it was a nice day overall! High temperatures were able to make it into the middle-50s in Lincoln, and conditions remained dry.
While the clouds will remain the centerpiece of the sky on Saturday evening, we’ll start to see some clearing overnight and into Sunday morning. We’re waking up to mostly clear skies on Sunday with low temperatures reaching the lower-30s in Lincoln.
Sunday afternoon features more sunshine. We’ll remain mostly clear in the afternoon, and I think that it is possible that we will see wall-to-wall sunshine for a good chunk of the afternoon. High temperatures should make it up into the 50s yet again.
High clouds should stream back into the area late Sunday and into Monday. As a result, we’re increasing clouds on Monday. High temperatures on Monday should still be able to make it up to near 50°.
Our warmest day next week appears to be on Tuesday. Tuesday features warm and windy conditions under sunny skies with highs into the low-60s.
A disturbance arrives on Wednesday, and it appears that this disturbance will not have enough moisture to work with to produce rain. So while Wednesday looks mostly cloudy, rain chances look slim at this point. Computer model guidance is not optimistic about rain chances over the next seven days!
This disturbance will depart early Thursday, leaving mostly sunny skies and chillier weather for Thanksgiving.
