Mother’s Day at the Farmers’ Market

Sunday Farmers’ Market at College View was filled with mothers and their kids walking around spending the holiday together. 

Channel 8 News caught up with a new mom who loves spending time with her baby boy. 

“He’s just a happy baby that waking up in the morning when you go to get him out of his crib, he’s all smiles, it’s amazing,” Alicia Vrtiska, a mother at the farmers’ market, said. 

Vrtiska spent Mother’s Day doing exactly what she wanted to. 

“This was a big part of my plan as long as the weather held out, and luckily it did, just really being with him all day,” Vrtiska said.
