LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol arrested a man Thursday after a chase in Lincoln County.

A trooper was patrolling on Highway 83 around 6 p.m. when they tried to pull over a motorcycle driving 122 mph, according to the patrol.

The driver — 21-year-old Noah Fullerton — sped up, the patrol said, and the trooper started a pursuit.

During the pursuit, Fullerton reached speeds more than 140 mph, according to authorities.

Lincoln County deputies joined the chase, but both the trooper and deputies lost sight of Fullerton after he turned north onto Highway 97.

A short time later, another trooper saw Fullerton on Highway 92, west of Stapleton.

The trooper pulled over Fullerton and confirmed he was the same person who fled, the patrol said.

Fullerton was arrested on suspicion of avoiding arrest, having no motorcycle license, willful reckless driving and other traffic violations.
