Motorcyclist crashed at Waverly High School after chase with trooper, patrol says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Wednesday night after a chase with a trooper in Lincoln, the Nebraska State Patrol says.
Around 8:10 pm., a trooper tried pulling over a motorcycle speeding on Cornhusker Highway in east Lincoln.
But the driver — 31-year-old Jarret Bruckner — sped off, according to the patrol.
The trooper chased after but stopped after Bruckner turned into a neighborhood in Waverly.
Shortly after, another trooper saw Bruckner had crashed in the Waverly High School parking lot, the patrol said.
Bruckner was taken to a Lincoln hospital with minor injuries.
Once released, he was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including DUI and willful reckless driving.
