Motorcyclist drove past stop sign in northeast Lincoln crash, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A motorcycle ran through a stop sign before a crash on Friday in northeast Lincoln, police say.

The crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck happened around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of 63rd and Judson streets.

The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old Lincoln man, was heading east on Judson Street when he went past a stop sign, police said Monday.

The truck, which was traveling north on 63rd Street, struck the motorcyclist, according to police.  The intersection has stop signs on Judson Street.

Police said the motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with injuries that are life-threatening.  The driver of the truck was not injured.

Alcohol nor drugs are suspected in the crash, and no citations have been issued.
