Motorcyclist injured in north Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A motorcyclist was injured Sunday night in a crash in north Lincoln.

The crash happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of Cornhusker Highway and Yolande Avenue.

Police said the motorcycle was heading west when it crashed into the front of an SUV at the stop sign.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old Lincoln man, was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

No citations have been issued yet, according to police.

A part of Cornhusker Highway was temporarily shut down as officers investigated the crash.
