LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was killed Monday in a two-vehicle crash southwest of Grand Island, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office says.

The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 30 and 60th Road.

The sheriff’s office said an SUV was heading east on Highway 30 when it turned onto 60th Road in front of a westbound motorcycle, driven by 51-year-old Jarrod Liske of Grand Island.

Liske was pronounced dead at the scene.  The sheriff’s office did not say if the driver of the SUV – a 29-year-old Omaha man – was injured.

An investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy has been requested by the Hall County Attorney’s Office.
