Motorcyclist killed in crash with semi in west Omaha

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A motorcyclist died after crashing into a turning semitrailer, Omaha Police say.
The crash happened at 132nd Street and West Dodge Road just before 7 a.m. on Monday.
The Omaha Police Department says 22-year-old Ty Rannals of Omaha was heading south on 132nd when a northbound semi made a left turn onto Dodge.
Rannals’ motorcycle then collided with the semi. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police say the semi’s driver, 32-year-old Corey Johnston of Bellevue, was cited on suspicion of misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide.
