Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after running a red light in Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A motorcyclist is receiving treatment for serious injuries he suffered in a crash.

The Lincoln Police Department said this happened near 66th and Vine streets around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The southbound motorcyclist ran a red light, according to LPD, and hit a westbound vehicle.

He was thrown from the bike, badly injuring his legs.

There’s no word if anyone will be ticketed.
