All of these local motorcyclists are riding out to the Tecumseh Montz Motorcycle Museum. this is where the motorcycle club first originated.
"We’re out here to celebrate our Vietnam veterans this is an honor ride for them guys to pay respect to them for their services that they did and basically to welcome home the way they should have been welcomed home," said Glenn Shriner the Event’s Organizer
For Jim Gordon a Vietnam veteran Saturday was a day for him to remember those he lost during the war.
"I was in Vietnam for a relatively short period of time but time enough to watch 3 of us get killed and 11 of us get wounded. The one regret that I have is not that I’m here but that those who were killed are not here and can’t be here so we remember them," said Gordon.
Seeing all of these people come out to support the veterans like Jim means something extraordinary.
"Short of seeing my family when I got off the plane there couldn’t be anything better than this these are people whom I don’t known are showing up for me, and us it makes you just want to hug them," added Gordon.
This was the first year the event took place. after so many people came out, the organizer told me that they are going to do whatever it takes to do it again next year.
