Mountain lion reported near another Nebraska community
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A mountain lion appears to be on the move near another Nebraska community, just weeks after several sightings in Omaha.
The Nance County Sheriff’s Office said it received this latest report on Saturday.
Officials were told that the animal was spotted west of Fullerton, near the cell tower on North 545th Street.
Deputies went to the area, given how close it is to the community. The mountain lion was last seen heading north.
Officials said they have video and tracks that support this latest sighting.
A mountain lion was on the move through Omaha in late July and early August, but those reports have stopped.
