LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — More than 20 vehicles were trespassing at a central Lincoln gas station Friday night, police say.

Just before 9:45 p.m., officers with the Lincoln Police Department were sent to the Casey’s near 27th and O streets.

According to LPD, more than 20 cars were in the parking lot. The drivers were loitering, doing doughnuts and arguing with staff.

Officers issued 15 trespassing tickets and two referrals to juvenile court.

Lincoln Police said to always obey “no loitering,” “no trespassing” and “restricted parking” signs posted by businesses.

“Incidents like this require a significant police response,” LPD said. “We encourage everyone to find safe, appropriate places to gather.”
