Update: Capitol Parkway near Lincoln Children’s Zoo reopened after multiple-vehicle crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE (4:50 p.m.): According to Lincoln Police, multiple people were taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Traffic on Capitol Parkway is fully reopened after being shut down for an hour.
One vehicle turned in front of another, police say. It is not yet known who is at fault.
At least two vehicles were confirmed to be involved in the crash.

A multiple-vehicle crash near the Lincoln Children’s Zoo has traffic shut down in both directions on Capitol Parkway from Randolph to 27th Streets.
The crash was initially called in at 3:43 p.m. on Thursday.
