Naked man caught near Norfolk with drugs and stolen motorcycle, deputies say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Deputies in northeast Nebraska say they saw it all over the weekend in a “bizarre and eventful” traffic stop.
A naked man was pulled over with drugs and a stolen motorcycle, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
About 1 a.m. Sunday, a deputy saw a pickup truck pulling a trailer without working lights on Highway 81 north of Norfolk.
The deputy turned on his lights, and the driver — 47-year-old Kipp Polston of Iowa — pulled off onto Northeast Industrial Highway.
Authorities said the deputy approached the pickup to find Polston completely naked, though he was using a pair of pants to cover himself.
He told the deputy he took off his clothes because he was hot and “allergic to his own sweat,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
The deputy learned that Polston had a suspended license and took him into custody.
But authorities said as the deputy tried to put Polston in the cruiser, he claimed he was claustrophobic, dropping to the ground and refusing to move.
Another deputy arrived and took Polton to the Madison County Jail.
Deputies then searched the vehicle and found THC concentrate and a marijuana water pipe with burnt residue.
The trailer was hauling two motorcycles, and the sheriff’s office said one of them was stolen.
Polston faces charges of theft, possession of a controlled substance, driving under suspension, resisting arrest and defective vehicle lighting.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
