Groups across Lincoln held BBQs, bands and face painting to enjoy National Night Out.
We visited one of the celebrations at Southeast Community College where families enjoyed the night out.
The night promotes police–community partnerships to make Lincoln a safer, more caring place to live.
The celebrations were also held at the Airpark Rec Center and the F Street Rec Center.
