NDOT: 25 people killed in traffic accidents in September

During the month of September 25 people were killed on Nebraska roadways, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

According to NDOT, the 25 deaths happened in 22 crashes.

Six deaths were on the interstate, 12 on highways and seven on local roads.

Two motorcyclists lost their lives.

One person was killed in an ATV crash, and one person was hit and killed on skateboard.

Two deaths were due to pedestrians being struck by vehicles.
