Near to above average temperatures this week
Temperatures will be up and down this coming week. Starting Monday near to above average temperatures will take us through the weekend. The forecast is mainly dry, with very small chances for precipitation later in the week.
Monday’s lows start near normal, we gradually warm up into the 50s.
High temperatures will be above normal, with many in the low to mid 50s. Our usual high this time of year is 41 degrees!
SE Nebraska will see mostly sunny skies throughout Monday. Central and western parts will have a little more cloud coverage, with a chance for mixed precipitation in the panhandle.
Trends have been toward a drier forecast in the incoming days, with very few chances for any precipitation.
Looking ahead, the Husker volleyball NCAA National Semifinal will take place this coming Thursday in Tampa, Florida. If you are traveling down south to watch the team take on Pittsburgh, you could run into a few showers in the afternoon. If you’re staying in and cheering them on from back home, although we won’t be seeing the 75 degree temperatures like in Tampa, we will be seasonally warmer in the 50s.
