Nebraska authorities find 850 grams of meth in Polk County home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested Thursday after authorities found nearly 2 pounds of meth in a rural Polk County home, police say.
A drug task force composed of the Columbus Police Department and the Nebraska State Patrol served a search warrant at the home.
Inside, authorities found over 850 grams of meth, police said. The residents of the home – Daniel Brewer, 57, and Annie McCoy, 46 – were taken into custody.
Brewer was arrested on suspicion of distribution and possession of an exceptionally hazardous drug. He was also charged with possession of drug funds and drug paraphernalia.
McCoy was arrested on suspicion of possessing an exceptionally hazardous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
