Nebraska baseball calms the Pepperdine Waves in Malibu

Eight of the nine Huskers in the starting lineup recorded a hit, including four who had a two-hit night.
The Huskers jumped out to an early 4-0 lead after three innings in Malibu, California.
Nebraska led by seven runs in the top of sixth, going up 9-2.

Pepperdine made a game of it late, but Nebraska would hang on to win by 3.
Nebraska scored nine runs on 12 hits, while Pepperdine had six runs on seven hits.
The teams will conclude their two-game midweek series with the Waves at 5 p.m. Central Wednesday on ESPN Plus.
