The Huskers fell in an early 5-0 hole, which led to a 11-2 deficit going into the fourth inning.
Nebraska rallied in the final six innings, outscoring the Wildcats 6-1, but the late push wasn’t quite enough to get over the hump.
Case Sanderson finished the game 4-for-5 with a home run for the Huskers.
Before the game, Kansas State honored the family of Greg Sharpe by having them throw out the first pitch.
Forever in our hearts. ❤️
