Nebraska baseball loses vs. Iowa in pitchers’ duel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Huskers were shut out 1-0 on Friday at Iowa.
Nebraska struggled at the plate, only getting three hits on the night.
Will Walsh got the start on the mound and recorded seven innings while only giving up two hits.
But Walsh falls to 4-5 on the year as the Hawkeyes had a solo home run in the second inning that ended up being the difference maker.
Nebraska will face Iowa at Duane Banks Field for game two of the series at 2:02 p.m. Saturday.
