Nebraska baseball sweeps Wichita State at home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska baseball beat Wichita State 5-4 on Wednesday night.

The Huskers scored five runs on five hits.

They were led by Gabe Swansen, who was 1-for-4 with two RBIs, and Max Buettenback, who went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit solo homer.

The win followed NU’s 10-1 victory over the Shockers on Tuesday.

Nebraska returns to Big Ten play this weekend in a three-game series against UCLA.

First pitch on Friday between the Big Red and the Bruins is set for 7 p.m.
