LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska baseball took down Crieghton 6-3 on Tuesday.

The Huskers lost 9-5 to the Bluejays earlier this year in Lincoln.

This time, Nebraska fueled its win with some late scoring, putting up 4 runs in the last five innings.

The Huskers also shut the Bluejays out during that stretch.

NU was led by Dylan Carey, who went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a pair of RBIs.

Case Sanderson went 2-for-5 with a triple and a run scored, and Joshua Overbeek drove in a run, going 2-for-5 on the night.

The win snaps a four-game losing streak against Creighton.

Nebraska and Creighton are set to play their rubber match on May 6 in Lincoln.
