Nebraska baseball takes down Purdue in largest comeback win since 2010

LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) — Nebraska baseball defeated Purdue 11-9 on Thursday night at Alexander Field in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Things looked grim for the Huskers after three innings, trailing 8-0.
Dylan Carey unlocked the scoring for the Huskers with a solo home run in the fourth to make it 8-1.
Nebraska would go on to score five more runs in the inning.
In the eighth, Carey would give the Huskers the lead with a two-RBI single.
The Huskers scored 11 runs on 14 hits.
Dylan Carey was 2-for-4 with a homer, three RBIs and two runs scored. Cayden Brumbaugh drove in 3 runs on a 2-for-6 night with a double.

Nebraska and Purdue are scheduled to continue the series Friday.
