Nebraska basketball coach Fred Hoiberg to undergo medical procedure
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska athletic department announced Monday that head basketball coach Fred Hoiberg will have his pacemaker replaced.
Hoiberg will undergo the procedure on Friday.
This will be the second pacemaker replacement for Hoiberg, who previously went through the procedure in 2014.
The pacemaker was originally placed in 2005, when he had open-heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm.
