LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska men’s basketball team fell in the AP Poll on Monday, checking in outside the top 10 for the first time in six weeks.

The Huskers are now ranked No. 12 after being ranked No. 9 last week.

This is the first time since Jan. 5 that Nebraska is ranked outside the top 10.

The fall comes after a 57-52 loss to unranked Iowa on the road, and an 87-64 win over Penn State at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Nebraska now looks down the final stretch of the season, matching up with Maryland on Wednesday at PBA.

Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
