Nebraska basketball freshman Natalie Potts secures weekly Big Ten award
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska basketball’s Natalie Potts was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday.
The 6-foot-2 forward averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, two steals and a block in the first two games of the season last week.
In the season-opening win against Northwestern State, Potts put up 15 points, hitting six of seven shots from the field.
On the road against Wyoming, Potts had 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block.
Nebraska returns to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Tuesday to take on Alcorn State at 7 p.m.
