Nebraska basketball’s Alexis Markowski, Britt Prince earn Big Ten postseason honors

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two standouts on the Nebraska women’s basketball team were given Big Ten postseason honors on Tuesday.
Alexis Markowski was named to First Team All-Big Ten by the media and Britt Prince earned a unanimous spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
Markowski, a Lincoln Pius X alum, averaged 16.8 points and 8.1 rebounds during the regular season.

The senior finished the regular season with 30 points and 8 rebounds in Sunday’s win at Northwestern.
Markowski is the first Husker in history to win four first- or second-team all-conference honors.
Prince, an Elkhorn North High School alum, averaged 13 points and 4.4 rebounds in her first collegiate season.

She set a career-high of 24 points in a road win at Rutgers. Prince finished the regular season with 15 points and six assists in the road win at Northwestern on Sunday.
In addition to the postseason honors, Callin Hake was named Nebraska’s recipient of the 2025 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
