LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska basketball standout Brice Williams was named one of the top Big Ten players of the season on Tuesday.

The conference announced that the senior guard earned unanimous first-team All-Big Ten honors, becoming the first Husker to do so since 2018.

Williams averaged a league-high 20.7 points per game, along with 4.4 rebounds and 3 assists per game in conference play.

He’s the first Husker since 2014 to lead the Big Ten in scoring during conference play.

Williams ranked among the conference leaders in several other categories, including free throw percentage (.875) and minutes played (36.3).

Before this season, James Palmer Jr. was the Huskers’ most recent first-team All-Big Ten selection.
