LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska freshman Leo Curtis posted his second 20-point game of the week on Saturday, lifting Iceland to an 88-67 win over the Ukraine at the U20 EuroBasket Championships in Heraklion, Greece.

Curtis finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots as Iceland improved to 2-4 during tournament play.

The 7-foot-1 forward had five of his points and a block in a game-opening 19-0 run.

Iceland built a 58-27 halftime lead as Curtis tallied 17 of his 22 points in the first half. Iceland led by as much as 36 in cruising to its second tournament win.

Entering the final day of tournament play, Curtis is averaging 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 blocks per game.

He leads Iceland in scoring, rebounding and blocks and is second in assists.

Iceland will play Germany in its final game of the tournament Sunday at 7:30 a.m.
