Nebraska Broadband Office to host event on internet needs

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska Broadband Office is hosting an event Tuesday night with the Department of Transportation, to seek information about high-speed internet needs in Lincoln.

The meeting is part of an ongoing effort to better understand the unique connectivity needs of families across the state.

The aim is to increase high-speed internet through the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program.

Tuesday’s meeting will be held at the Nebraska Department of Transportation at 5:30 p.m.
