Nebraska crews rescue injured person in Hurricane Helene-ravaged North Carolina
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska Task Force One says it saved the life of a Hurricane Helene victim on Thursday.
In a social media post Friday, the task force recounted the rescue in North Carolina.
A local flagged down the search and rescue team, saying someone had a serious injury and needed urgent help.

The task force said it faced “dangerous terrain and extreme conditions” on the way to the victim.
But crews got there quickly, the task force said, and provided lifesaving medical intervention.
Nebraska Task Force One said this story “highlights the incredible work” of all search and rescue teams.
