Nebraska falls to Texas A&M, continuing NCAA Tournament woes

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska men’s basketball team is one and done in the NCAA Tournament.
Texas A&M defeated the Huskers 98-83 on Friday night in the first round of March Madness.
The Aggies shot 49%, compared with Nebraska’s 45%.
Behind the arc, the Aggies made 54% of their shots, and the Huskers made 32%.
Nebraska was outrebounded 40-28.

Texas A&M started to pull away at the end of the first half and took a 58-44 lead into the locker room.
And the Huskers couldn’t catch up.
Brice Williams led Nebraska with 24 points, followed by Keisei Tominaga with 21 and Josiah Allick with 14.
Texas A&M had three players score at least 20 points: Wade Taylor IV (25), Manny Obaseki (22) and Tyrece Radford (20).
Nebraska, which was making its first March Madness appearance since 2014, has never won an NCAA Tournament game.
