Nebraska flags to fly at half-staff in honor of Nashville school shooting victims

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Flags in Nebraska will fly at half-staff this week to honor the victims of a school shooting in Nashville, Gov. Jim Pillen announced Tuesday.

In accordance with a request from the White House, flags across the nation will be flown at half-staff until Friday.

On Monday, three children and three adults were killed in a shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, the Associated Press reported.

The victims were three 9-year-old children, a school administrator, a substitute teacher and a custodian, according to the Associated Press.
