Nebraska football lands pair of top 2026 recruits

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Matt Rhule and the Nebraska football team landed a pair of big-time recruits in the class of 2026.
4-star defensive back Danny Odem and 3-star running back Jamal Rule announced their commits to Nebraska on Monday.
Odem chose Nebraska over a few prominent power five schools, including Clemson, Penn State, Ohio State and Oklahoma.

According to 247 Sports, the Orlando native is the No. 22 cornerback in the class and No. 40 prospect in the state of the Florida.
Rule is the No. 779 overall prospect and No. 44 RB in the 2026 class, choosing Nebraska over Virginia Tech and Michigan State.

Odem and Rule are the seventh and eighth recruits to join Rhule’s 2026 class.
