Nebraska football’s Bryce Benhart, Isaac Gifford returning for another season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two Nebraska football standouts are returning for another year at Memorial Stadium.
On Monday, offensive lineman Bryce Benhart and defensive back Isaac Gifford announced they will be staying at Nebraska.

Gifford, a Lincoln native, finished his junior year with a career-high 86 tackles. He is the first Husker to have over 80 tackles since Nathan Gerry in 2014.
Gifford also had eight pass breakups, 6.5 tackles for a loss and an interception. He was an honorable-mention All-Big Ten pick.
Benhart played in all 12 games at right tackle in his junior season. He was also an honorable-mention All-Big Ten selection.
In this year’s Iowa game, Benhart started his 41st game, tying for the most starts by an offensive lineman in program history.
