Nebraska Game and Parks announces Free Fishing and Park Entry Day

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska Game and Parks announced Thursday that Free Fishing and Park Entry Day is May 18.
Nebraskans can enjoy activities at state parks without buying a fishing or entry permit for the day.
Free Fishing and Park Entry Day is an annual event held on Saturday ahead of Memorial Day weekend.
Camping, lodging and all other user fees still apply at state parks. Anglers must observe all fishing regulations.
Entrance fees for museums at state historical parks and the entrance fee at the Schramm Education Center remain in effect.
