Nebraska game officials investigate illegal killing of two deer in Cherry County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is investigating the killing of two mule deer in Cherry County.
The deer were shot Saturday or Sunday near Cody, which is just south of the Nebraska-South Dakota border.
Game officials said the deer were illegally shot and maliciously wasted.
Anyone with information is asked to call Conservation Officer Frank Miller at 402-389-0444. People can also report tips through Nebraska Wildlife Crimestoppers.
You may be eligible for a reward if your tip leads to the arrest of the culprit, officials said.
