Nebraska History Museum unveils new exhibit Saturday

The Nebraska History Museum unveiled a new exhibit Saturday. 

The display highlights the history of dirt track racing in Nebraska. 

Dozens flocked to the museum, located near Centennial Mall and P Street, to check out several vintage cars, some of which date back to the 1940s. 

"They are just so amazing," said the museum’s marketing director, Chris Goforth. "They look so sharp and the pride that a lot of these people take in their vehicles really shows and it is just fun to see."

The exhibit will be up through the end of August, 2019.
