LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man continued driving home Tuesday despite crashing into a parked car and a tree in Grand Island, police say.

Around 10:30 p.m., a man struck the rear of a parked vehicle while heading south on Cleburn Street.

He didn’t stop and kept driving toward his home, police said.

The driver hit a tree at the intersection of 15th and Eddy streets, then went home and parked in his driveway.

Officers followed a trail of vehicle fluid from the scene of the crash to the driver’s home, according to police.

He was found with a bleeding left arm.  Officers cited the man on suspicion of leaving the scene of an injury accident.
