LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man formerly of Wilber will spend over a decade behind bars for a child pornography charge, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.

Kenneth Brinton, 65, was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison for possession of child porn.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office searched Brinton’s home after the Beatrice Police Department arrested him on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child.

Deputies found a total of 57 videos and eight images of child porn on his computer.  Brinton appeared in many of the videos, according to the attorney’s office.

After his release from prison, Brinton will serve a 13-year term of supervised release.  There is no parole in the federal system.
