Nebraska men’s basketball downs Fairleigh Dickinson, moves to 3-0
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska men’s basketball remains unbeaten after an 86-60 home win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday night.
The Huskers started off hot, going up 45-25 after the first half.
A mix of strong defense and fast break points helped Nebraska early on while the 3-ball was dry.
Nebraska shot just 3 of 15 from behind the arc in the first half.
The Huskers let things get a little closer in the second half at times but still outscored FDU 41-35.
Nebraska dominated down low, going 23 of 28 from the free-throw line and outrebounding FDU 43-31.
Juwan Gary led the Red and White in scoring with 19 points.
