Nebraska men’s basketball drops first game at PBA since Dec. 3, 2023

The Huskers went down 40-37 after the break.
The second half was back-and-forth until the buzzer.
Brice Williams gave Nebraska a spark of life by hitting a late 3 to pull the game within 1 point.
But Scarlet Knight Ace Bailey knocked down both his free throws late, helping Rutgers snap Nebraska’s 20-game home winning streak. It was the first loss at Pinnacle Bank Arena since Dec. 3, 2023.
Williams finished with 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting.
Juwan Gary also had a big night, pouring in 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting.
Both NBA hopeful freshman Rutgers guards Bailey and Dylan Harper had big nights, going for 24 and 21 points.
Nebraska will be back in action this Sunday against Maryland at 11 a.m.
