Nebraska men’s basketball falls to Iowa in overtime

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska suffered its third loss of the season Tuesday night in a 97-87 overtime defeat at Iowa.
Nebraska went up 34-31 at halftime and was in control for much of the second half.
But despite the Huskers’ double-digit lead, the Hawkeyes clawed their way back to take a late 3-point advantage.
Brice Williams gave a Nebraska a spark of hope, hitting a buzzer beater 3 to send the game into overtime.

Iowa dominated in OT, outscoring Nebraska 21-11 to take the win.

Williams led the way for Nebraska, going for 28 points.
Nebraska will suit up again this Sunday against Purdue at 11 a.m.
