Nebraska motorcyclist in critical condition after crash near Grand Island

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A motorcyclist was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Alda.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened on Highway 30 near Chestnut Street, just southwest of Grand Island.
A motorcycle – driven by a 56-year-old Grand Island man – was heading east when it slowed down and was hit from behind by a Toyota Highlander.
The motorcyclist was taken to a Grand Island hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Toyota, a 21-year-old Grand Island woman, was uninjured.
An investigation is ongoing.
