Nebraska native Nick Townsend eliminated from American Idol
A Nebraska native is no longer in the running to be crowned the next “American Idol.”
Tekamah native Nick Townsend was eliminated from the show in Sunday night’s episode, falling short of the show’s ‘Top 20.’
Townsend, who now lives in Los Angeles, lost two brothers to suicide. He said he made it’s his mission to spread happiness, using his platform on the show to talk about dealing with depression, suicide, and perseverance.
